My wife and I recently spent our honeymoon at your cabin and I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we enjoyed it.  The walk to the river, the view from the deck, playing in the snow on top of Roan Mountain and the crackle of the fire in the evening all joined together to make our Honeymoon most memorable.  We want to thank you for the opportunity and trust we will be able to make the trip again many times in the future.

Hiking Great. This is a very inspirtational place.  Highly recommended for writing Poetry, music, and meditation and being connected to nature in a pure way means reflection because this is a place on the spirit.   We will be back

PIGEON ROOST CREEK

1. Very secluded, great fishing and hiking.  The walk up the left hand fork through the National Forest each morning was so relaxing and private.  Lots of Cascading water in all the creeks.  We loved waking up in the morning to the sound of the rushing water in the creek just feet from the cabin.  The kids enjoyed playing in the water and jumping off the boulders in the creek.  We will be back!    Atlanta, GA

2. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin.  We especially enjoyed the waterfalls and hiking up the mountains.  Everything was very clean and organized.   Pembroke Pines, FL

6. We all had such a wonderful time, the cabin was perfect.  We caught four rainbow trout and one mountain trout all right behind the cabin.  They were delicious.   This week has flown by so fast. I recommend the white water rafting and the river tubing.  Thanks for the most wonderful week.  We look forward to our return next year, maybe for two weeks.  The seclusion was perfect!  We listened to the creek rapids and the crickets at night.  Reidsville NC

7.  We had a really nice time staying at the cabin.  We had everything we needed.  We felt very comfortable here.  The kids loved playing in the creek.  They even found bear tracks and saw three deer one night.

8. Thank you for a wonderful week.  Cabin was great and furnished with everything we could imagine.  We saw bear, deer, and wild turkey.  My husband caught trout in the creek.
